ASCE, in partnership with City of Houston District I and the League of Women Voters, is excited to announce “Infrastructure Day Houston” (I-Day Houston).  Hosted by City of Houston District I Council Memebr James G. Rodriguez, in collaboration with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the League of Women Voters, I-Day Houston will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Discovery Green.  The event will be open to the public and will feature educational opportunities designed to highlight the impact of infrastructure on our quality of life as well as promote the importance of infrastructure investment.  The audience for this event is the informed voter, and planned activities focus on two areas:
